Uploading Files

In IPFS Drive, you can either click the Upload button or simply drag & drop your file into the window.

When uploading, you may choose to publish the file publicly or encrypt it with a key. For example, you can select the private key you created in the previous step.

Public files are accessible by everyone, which is useful for storing assets of a DApp, website resources, or other shared content. Encrypted files, however, are only accessible across the network when you are connected, as the system verifies that you own the corresponding private key to decrypt them.

Note: You can manage your private keys in the User Menu, under the Keys tab.

Organizing with Folders

You can create folders to better organize your files. Important: if no file is added inside a folder, it will not be saved.

Managing Multiple Files

IPFS Drive supports multi-selection. Select multiple files at once to delete them or move them to another folder.
